Ampio bouquet di profumi, fiori, miele ed erbe di montagna, estratti dalla terra rossa della Lorena. La caratteristica sapidità è resa ancor più complessa dalla particolare vinificazione e l’audacia con cui affronta il tempo svela la sua nota minerale. Con l’evoluzione si percepiscono al naso note di idrocarburi e pietra focaia ed in bocca sapori fruttati con sfumature salate.

Abbinamenti
Questo vino trova la massima espressione come aperitivo e con piatti di pesce crudo, di cui ne sottolinea i sapori iodati, ma si fa ammirare anche con risotti, carni bianche e formaggi freschi. L’evoluzione lo porta ad accompagnare anche dessert con agrumi fino alla torta al limone. Consigliamo di servirlo a 12°C.

- JOHN DOWNES – Master of Wine, one of only 300 in the world – I tasted a large flight of Nascetta wines in the cellars of the imposing Grinzane Cavour castle outside Alba; some were good, some not so good. The good bottles carried lively acidity and a touch of minerality with nutty citrus aromas and flavours. The best reminded me of Chardonnay from the Maconnais in Burgundy, the very best had me thinking that they would improve with age. For the record the Nascetta producers that collected my highest scores were Cogno, Cellario, San Silvestro and Rivetto.
